Join us for Tenebrae on Monday, April 14 at 7:30 PM in the Church. Tenebrae, latin for “darkness” or “shadows” is an ancient practice of the church held during Holy Week, and consists of music and readings from scripture that meditate upon Christ’s passion and death.

This service, conducted in almost complete darkness, is a solemn and poignant reminder of the agony and grief suffered by Our Lord for the sake of our salvation. The service follows a series of readings and prayers, with candles gradually extinguished until the church is nearly dark—symbolizing Christ’s journey to the cross. A loud sound, known as the strepitus, marks the moment of His death, leaving a powerful silence for reflection.

As we enter into the sacred observance of the Triduum, we invite you to take a moment to pray and meditate with us as we journey with Jesus into the shadows of His suffering, made all the more glorious in the light of His Resurrection.

CLOW is designed to help young children understand and connect with the Sunday Gospel in a way that’s just right for them! Each Sunday during the 10:00AM Mass, children in grades K-3 will be guided by a team of volunteers to learn about the Gospel through stories, activities, and conversations that make God’s Word accessible and engaging for little disciples. No registration is required, simply come to 10:00AM Sunday Mass!
