The Church celebrates worldwide, on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ (also known as Corpus Christi). This is a special feast day when we celebrate the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. As Catholics, we believe that at every Mass, the blessed bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Christ. This feast reminds us what a powerful gift the Eucharist is - a way that Jesus stays with us and nourishes our souls. Many churches mark the day with a Eucharistic procession, taking Jesus out into the world as a sign of our faith and love.

Join us here at OLP for our Eucharistic Procession on Saturday, June 21 following the 5 PM Mass. The procession with the Eucharist will move around the grounds of the Church and conclude inside at the Altar, where we will have the Final Blessing. Come join us on this special day!
