All Souls Day and Candle Memorial

Candle Dedications are now closed.

On All Souls Day, November 2, the Church invites us to remember and pray for all the faithful departed. All Souls Day is dedicated to praying for those who have gone before us. It is a day of love, remembrance, and solemn hope, as we entrust our loved ones to the Lord’s eternal care. We commemorate all the faithful departed on All Souls Day. It is a day to remember all of our loved ones who have gone before us and to pray for them and entrust their souls to the mercy and love of God.

This year, we are honoring our loved ones who have died, with an All Souls Day candle memorial. Candles will be set up in the Church beneath the statues of Mary and Joseph, with each candle inscribed with the name of a loved one from among our families and friends who have passed away. This memorial will be a sign of our love and prayers for those who have died, as well as our faith in God, who holds them in his hands.

Envelopes for All Souls Day, which can be found on the bulletin tables at the back of the Church, will be placed on the Altar for the whole month of November. You may fill them out and drop them off either in the church collection basket or at the Rectory office.

You can pick up an All Souls Day prayer card on the bulletin tables at the back of church as we pray the Novena each day until November 2.
