You Still Have Time

It’s easy to go weeks without thinking much about God.

You’re busy.

The schedule fills itself.

Sunday comes and goes, and suddenly it’s been a while since anything spiritual has felt close.

You still believe, but it’s not front and center because life crowds out.

And this week’s Gospel names that kind of life: getting through the day, planning the next thing, taking care of what needs to be taken care of.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with this. But at some point, you stop noticing how far you’ve drifted.

That’s how Advent begins, with a question: Where are you right now?

And maybe more importantly: Do you want to keep going this way?

LIke a spiritual record scratch, pause. Reflect.

Hope isn’t about pretending everything’s fine. It’s about remembering that we can stop, turn around, and start again. God still wants us, even if we’ve been out of step for a while, even if we’re tired, and even if we’re not sure what we believe anymore.

This week we don’t need to fix everything, but I do invite you to make space–real space–for quiet, for prayer and for confession if you need it. Have an honest conversation with God, even if you don’t have the right words.

There’s time and I invite you to start here.

God Bless,
FF
