Bringing the Joy of Snail Mail Back!
Everyone knows the simple joy of receiving a handwritten letter, especially now in the age of emails, texts and social media. We all love to receive fun mail that’s not a bill or an advertisement for once! It’s a lost art, but one we hope to bring back through our Parish Pen Pals project here at Our Lady of Peace! We’ll match up parishioners of all ages to exchange fun letters throughout the year, and Pen Pals will be anonymous for an element of fun and mystery - think Secret Santa! 😃 Then after exchanging one letter a month from now till June, we'll have a gathering at OLP for the great Pen Pal reveal! We look forward to this fun community project, and hope you are too!
